We’ve improved how our code manages the varnish installation for Ubuntu 16.04 Xenial and Ubuntu 12.04 Precise nodes.
- fixed configured vcl being lost on full update (16.04 Xenial)
- fixed configured vcl being lost between node migrations (16.04 Xenial)
- fixed varnish getting reinstalled on full update (16.04 Xenial)
- fixed varnish getting restarted on full update (12.04 Precise)
The issues that we fixed in this release were introduced while doing the necessary code preparations allowing Precise
and Xenial to run next to each other. Development plans on Ubuntu 16.04 (Xenial) may have had issues with their vcl’s. All other hypernodes may have experienced Varnish restarting. Our apologies for any inconvenience caused.
