It’s been a while but a lot has happened with Hypernode as always!
Let’s get right to it:
- external FTP connections are now rejected by default, unless specific IP is whitelisted
- external MySQL connections are now rejected by default, unless specific IP is whitelisted
- PHP 7 has received extra modules: gd, zip and soap
- We’ve added an nginx syntax checker to the bash profile, to highlight nginx syntax errors
- Improved logic of the varnish vcl saver, for persistency during migrations/reboots
- We’ve switched to use Google/Level3 anycasted DNS servers. These are now statically configured
- Changes right after ordering a new node will now be handled correctly once the new node is provisioned
- Changing the node size multiple times in short succession is now handled correctly
- We’ve added brute-force protection on the magento rss feeds
- Stability improvements in the Out-of-Memory handling and auto-restarting of the affected services
- A protection against the Android dupe bug has been removed again
- Numerous internal provisioning improvements / bug fixes. Too hard to explain them all 🙂
As you can see, there have been many great improvements and we’ll do our best to give you more frequent updates as we release them!
