Today Magento released new versions for Magento 1 and Magento 2 which fix several critical security vulnerabilities.

Magento Version Check has been updated

With the release of these latest Magento versions we’ve updated our Magento Version check to include these latest versions. You can scan your website on magereport.com to see if you’ve installed the latest versions successfully. To make this check more visible for users visiting the site we’ve moved this check up the order. It should now be one of the first checks you encounter when scanning your site.

Improved version detection and SUPEE-11295

We were getting some complaints that incorrect versions were shown when scanning sites. This was often due to a site having minified JS instead of regular JS files. To improve version detection for sites which use minified JS we’re now also doing minified JS comparisons do more accurately detect versions. We’ve also made some generic improvements to our version detection algorithm to more accurately reflect the version of the website you’re hosting.
If you still think your site is triggering a false-positive, or if you have any other questions, feel free to send us a mail at magereport@hypernode.com.

We’ve also added the SUPEE-11295 check.
